Inquisition is a compilation of bonding questions from online sources and friends. It includes innocent ice breakers, deep personal inquiries, cornering controversial questions, and more. You can select a curated deck or build your own by tapping on the settings icon.

Where do these questions come from?

  • askhole is a deck of questions by rationalist/twitter influencer/sex worker Aella, and the original inspiration of this website.
  • austin is my boyfriend who has a note in his phone of questions he's too afraid to ask people.
  • 36 questions to fall in love is a list of 36 questions, originally made popular through the New York Times, which supposedly can make strangers fall in love.
  • alexandra is a friend of mine who has her own list of 50 bonding questions.
  • alex is a guy who came over to my house once.
  • emotional codes is a website alex showed me.
  • jackie luo is linked on emotional codes.
  • rachel is me.

I'm always happy to add more questions, so email me at rachel.weinberg12@gmail.com if you have your own list of interesting questions!

How are they scored and categorized?

Just my opinions. I tend to like questions that are clear (rather than leading to discussions about what the questions is even asking), specific (so that people don't spend a long time searching for the ideal answer), and of course controversial/introspective/deep or something.

I labelled them really fast so if you have any complaints about my scores and categorizations please let me know, you're likely correct. Also let me know if there's a category or setting that's missing that you think would be useful.
